These terms cover your use of the Kalahari Made website and the basics of how we work together. Kalahari Made is operated by Kobus Strauss, based in Ghanzi, Botswana.

Using this website

You're welcome to browse this site and contact us about work. Please don't misuse it — no attempting to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and no copying its content or design for your own commercial use without permission.

Enquiries and quotes

Prices shown on this site are starting points and indicative only. They are not a binding offer. Every project is quoted individually after we discuss your needs. A project is only confirmed once we've agreed scope and price in writing.

Projects and payment

When we take on a project together:

• We'll agree the scope, timeline and price before work starts.
• Payment terms (for example a deposit and a balance) are set out in your quote.
• Changes to the agreed scope may change the price and timeline.

Ownership

Once a project is fully paid for, you own the final deliverables we built for you. We may keep the right to display the work in our portfolio unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Third-party tools, fonts and services remain under their own licences.

Hosting and maintenance

Hosting, maintenance and support are provided under the specific plan or retainer you choose. We aim to keep your site fast, secure and available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, as some things (like third-party providers) are outside our control.

Liability

We do our work carefully and professionally. To the extent allowed by law, Kalahari Made is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
